I wonder if anyone has any spares?

A friend is currently building the ST engine from an unstamped, like new 2.2S block. Piston and cylinders have the original bore and stroke, he got them from an 70 year old guy, who worked for Mahle for 35 years. He are currently looking for Carrera 6 camshafts, in case anyone can help?

I have suggested Josh and Francis for first ports of call.

Thanks Nick and Paul. It is a nice widebody ST 80% original that laps Spa under 3 minutes!

Porsche included a full roll cage in 1970

St under 3mins at spa,what engine,not a 2.3 on carbs.The best my 993 cup would do was a 2.48 on new mich cup tyres
Saying that a so called st with a 3.0rsr engine done the ring in 8.40 in the wet,Klause Ludwig at the wheel during the oldtimer race 2006

May be the time for a 2.3 was a long time ago on a differant track layout and slicks,i had a 2.5 st for some time,it would not get near a 2.59. on the circuit before they changed the bus stop.
I have lots of ref photos of st and bits and pieces from them,if you need anything i can help with.
I built a copy of my original st to race etc,its a lot quicker and handles better than the original car,and of course not the value ,so may be i just drive it faster!!.
