Here's a couple of laps of Zandvoort in the Pinky N/GT with Tony on board - we get passed by young Dan on the second lap but there's no shame in that :)

What a trip!

Tks for sharing pix Steve!

N huge thanx to Oldtimer n Steve Henson. ( 996 Cup )
for letting the 'Guest Driver' use their cars.
The 996 Cup was definitely the weapon of choice at Spa (290k at the end of Kemmel), but I DID enjoy driving Oldtimers Tango at Zandvoort -nicely set up machine.

Great trip, thanks Steve for sorting.

Highlights for me were very fast/very wet laps with Tony in his RSR-alike, the best laps I've ever experienced in Dan's tweaked RSL, meeting Dan and his Dad Steve (Gannon) on our road trip to Spa and seeing the sun come out against all odds early in the afternoon.

I've never been to Spa before but I now know what all the fuss is about, I'd love to return especially with my mates from this forum. Who said 964 RSs never get used on track? Kevin, your new car is lovely, amazingly fresh, nice to see you there.

The very colour co-ordinating [;)]

It was great to get together again, thanks to all for a wonderful few days !!

And, since I can't seem to post on the original topic, huge thanks to Steve for organising us [;)]

Video of a very busy Spa session, not fast but lots of fun and features many of our group - Tony in his boxster, Paul in his M3, Kevin in Pinky, Ollie Jackson (yellow caterham), Dekkers car being driven by PhilRS.....and oldtimer bobbing around in the passenger seat. [:D]

how was Zandvoort btw? Weather and video footage both look excellent,

I would describe it as fast and technical. Some very difficult corners where it's difficult t work out what lines to take....unless of course you're a natural like young Dan. [;)] The weather was indeed scorching and the night out for beer and food in Haarlem before the track day was a bonus on the trip.

I'd definitely do Zandvoort again but it would be more enjoyable with less caterhams around because it was difficult to get flowing laps when regularly having to pull over to let them pass.

Great pics Steve.

My first Euro road trip, certainly won't be the last, i'm just curious as to what i'll be driving next year.

Brilliant bunch of blokes, been to some fantastic places. [:)]

It'll be great if you can join us again mate....even if you're in one of those ugly 993s. [;)]

Big thanks to Boxsey for all his organisation and a great night out in Haarlem before Zandvoort.
Hope to join you again next year.

Great road trip guys - so pleased we could all make it. I really enjoyed catching up with everyone. Love the new car Kevin - its a peach (even if a pink one). Very fresh, and we all thought you were very brave for driving it - keep it up.

Sorry Mel was out on day 2. I had to join him, although had other cars to play in, so not so bad.

Good to see Lawrence and his yellow car, as I'm not sure we'd actually met before.

I thought Zandvort was a cracking circuit, very fast and very technical. Sorry if we were some of the caterhams hassling you steve, I have to say, we did come up on a lot of the tin tops pretty quickly. Unlike Spa.

I had a cracking week and was thoroughly shattered by the end of it.

Just going through video and pics now.....

And many thanks for Dekker for letting me drive his car! A very well set up and fast C2!
