What a fabulous looking car.

I still miss my 944 after all these years. I sold it in 1995 !!

I know my eyes may be glazed over as it was my first Porsche, but my current one just about beats it all round!

cheers guys :)

i'm chuffed to bits with it, and my 2 year old loves going for rides in it. he always wants to go in daddys black car.

up close, its got a lot of swirl marks, but it is 22 year old paint that hasnt had any touch ups. i think its the best it'll look without claying and a machine polish. i've yet to try some swirl x from meguies so i'll probably give that a go in the future sometime. other than that, i'm pleased as punch how it looks. still very deep and reflective, a million miles from how it looked when i first got her.

cheers for the positive comments, its always nice to get feedback on what others think.

Yes agree with what has been said.....looks great, let us know what you think of scratch x when you have a go with it.

Well,it looks great as it is-however,just a simple clay bar treatment will further enhance that deep black gleam,& make it easier to maintain the gleam-how do I know-well I don't because our cars are red & metallic silver, but it works on those colours.[:)]

Looks fantastic - black is, in my opinion, the best colour when just polished.

However, I always find it incredibly frustrating when it gets even the slightest mark as it shows up so easily!

I tried this on my last 911 which was Forest Green. The swirl marks were awful and ruined the cars overall appearance. I had it detailed once and obviously it looked perfect after that.

Further on the swirl marks reappeared and I tried the above with pretty good success. Not perfect by any means but I was pleased with the result - and of course I didn't have to lay out £350+ for a detailer!

Easy to put on and take off to "" even with my crap back!

black is my fave colour. ok, it does show up the muck, but when its clean and polished, well, it looks great (imo :) )

i think on a 944 tho, a good, deep shine on guards red cant be beaten.

Very nice.
I really must stop looking at pictures of shiny 944s as they make me want to get a 3rd one!
