Hi Guys

I know there was talk about another Silverstone Evening and Paul Follett (968 racer) has sorted Melindi out!

"Price is now £139 for all Porsche owners booked direct with Melindi at Goldtrack melindi@goldtrack.co.uk

ie applies to anyone who sees this, whatever car you bring, just say you saw it on the 968 forum

Hope to be available with camera and helmet!

20 days to go, anyone else tempted?

I have just booked at the reduced price of £139 (as above) -- what with the F1 there in a few days, you'll get plenty of chance to 'sight' a few of the corners, especially the new Arena section.

Cut and paste who's coming in the thread on the 968 forum if you have booked

I emailed Melindi but haven't heard back. Guess I'll just have to ring them...

Later: rung, booked and paid.

Sounds too good to miss, not sure if I can have my car track ready by then, but might try to give it a go (not helped by my 944S costing a bit more than I thought to get through the MOT [:-]).

This is so very tempting!

I don't thing my girlfriend would be too happy if I was to go to Silverstone instead of taking her out for a Birthday dinner!

I'll be keeping an eye out for the next one. [:)]

Huh? As a special treat you're taking her around the world famous Silverstone race circuit and then to the pub afterwards for a pint and a chat about wastegates. How could that fail to impress any lass?

I know, I know. But last time I tried something similar she wasn't very impressed. I'll never understand women!

[:D]

or how about impressing with a few well chosen words and a meal in the paddock diner - usually stays open until 7pm !!

All booked, just have the minor matter of getting the car out of storage and ready [:)] Maybe this'll be the first time I use the 944S on track???

We're on holiday that week....camping in Oxfordshire so not far away

If I can get away I might pop over

Barring plagues of locusts, famine or the re-election of Blair, I'll be there, flying the 924 flag..

Sorry for the plug but i have some Cup 1 17 inch wheels and Michelin Cup tyres (used) but ideal for trackdays perfect for your 944 turbo or 968 please see for sale section[:D]Very cheap and economical way to go much quicker!!!!!

I am booked with a trailer as well, see you all there - I'll bring my keys!
Tony

Great news [:)]

I'll be along for a natter. Would it be prudent to go somewhere other than The Green Man for food afterwards :ROFLMAO:
