Right guys, I have decided to replace all the old vacuum hosing on my car with black silicon stuff. I have purchased 120 metres of the stuff as I got a discount on it. If anyone wants some I will sell it for what it cost me. It is about £1.50 per m. It is 3mm ID with 2mm wall thickness.
Cheers
Sandy

You spent £180 on 120 metres because it was a good price????? []

Sounds like my wife justifying shoes we don't need because they were on sale :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Gosh! And there was I thinking I was the only one with that problem. (That's the wife buying shoes becuase they are on sale, not me, before anyone asks!)

Thanks. You've cheered up my whole day.

Oli.

It seemd a good price. I am terrible with "bargains" Thend to think of it after I buy things. I will prob sell it on ebay as it seems to sell for about £2.50 per m(including p&p)

Will maybe need to just buy some more cars so that I can use it up! [:D]

As long as they're "reduced from..." you can buy as many as you want whether or not you need 'em. Them's the rules apparently.[:D]

I assume each car will need about 6 metres so I can do my s2, turbo and then need to buy 18 more cars! [:D] Not sure quite how I will go about persauding the bird that I need more cars! :)

There was a chap on Rennlist (Laust I think) who custom made a vacuum hose manifold which greatly reduced simplified the vaccum hose routings, the length of vacuum hose and the number of joins and connections thus reducing possible leak paths. I don't think he makes them anymore. Does anyone know of anything similar from another vendor?
