David, I would love to keep both but cant justify the money at the moment. If anyone does buy it then I will try and negotiate first option to buy it back if they ever wanted to sell it. It will be sadly missed. I got the cayman last night so its definately up for sale. Cheers Sandy

Looks a good price to me Sandy Hope you enjoy the Cayman - I looked at a new one at Porsche Leicester - looked lovely. I'm very happy with my flat six mid engined Porsche so far - did you get the bores scoped before purchase?

Me too, had a new one for a couple of days, just the base model, and it was brilliant. Sadly no money, well not to spend on cars so a I am told []

Actually, it makes perfect sense. You can carry on wanting the newest model, or be happy with the one you've got. I'm very happy with the one I've got and intended to stick with it ... Oli.

so ideally people would only let the 994s go for a caymen? , the only other models for me that i would consider in the future would be a supersport coupe or some sort of 993,,,jasonp

I regret selling lots of sh*tty old 911s for next to nowt, which are now worth £30,000+ each! If I do own another air cooled car then Id happily swap a 944 for a 3.2l or a 964. I see that the 964 is no longer the ginger step child of the 911 range. Ive always argued that it was one of the best 911s, but wish that people had agreed with me without buying them and increasing the prices...

I wouldn't swap for a 3.2 the 944 is a better car. The 3.2 just sounds like a Porsche should.

I am driving a 993 C2, always promised myself one and its a good car, totally standard and an involving drive - just like everyone promised.........but you know, and I can't believe I'm typing this, it's not as good as my 944S2..........maybe it's rose coloured glasses or maybe I had the 944 set up better for my driving style! Certainly not four times the drive which is what I paid for it compared to the 944!
