Hope no one objects, I've put this up as a new post to give it one more chance, if no one on here is interested ( or knows someone who might be ) I'll let it drop off page one and try piston heads. I'm also open to offers, and would be willing to travel a bit if someone is keen

Original details ( amended )
After several months of difficult deliberation I've decided to sell my car. I've had her for nearly four years now but over the last 6 months I've driven her less and less and I've always believed these cars work better when they're driven regularly. Part of the reason for its lack of use is that my wife doesn't drive and relies on me to take her anywhere, she has always had issues with her back and legs but things have gradually got worse and although she won't admit it, getting in and out of the Porsche is much harder than it used to be.

Along with work commitments and fairly major decorating / repair work needed on the house, I simply don't have time to drive her or give her the attention she deserves, and sitting on the drive gathering dust and bird poo is not what she was meant for !

I've put together a bit of a time line of things she's had done since I've owned her, it doesn't seem as much as some of you but I've tried to keep on top of any work that needed doing. ( I seem to spend more time washing and waxing her than anything else !) I don't think it's an exhaustive list but hopefully it will give anyone interested in buying her a idea of her condition.

I will be taking some pics of her at the weekend (weather permitting ) to add to this post, and will take any pictures asked of by interested parties.

She's got an MOT till December this year and the Tax has just been renewed till end of November

Please bear with me if I've left anything out, I've tried to be as honest as possible including anything I think needs attention. At the moment she's only up for sale on here as it would be nice for her to go to someone on the forum.

My timeline:

Work that's been done since I've owned the car. ( May 2009 - 118,729miles )

June 2009 - replace broken front foglight with good s/h one + new brighter headlight bulbs, new Bosch platinum battery.,

July 2010 - cut rust out of inner and outer part of near side rear sill + wax oil inner and outer underneath of sills

August 2010 - replace front wheel bearings - inner & outer

September 2010 - new rear hatch lock seal

March 2011 - new cam & balance belts, rollers, guides & tensioners. Replace rear handbrake shoes, strip clean check and refit rear CV joints ( 126,113miles )

November 2011 - new rear tyres ( Falken ZE912, 255/40x17 )

January 2012 - new cam box gasket, plug seals, distributed cap. New front ARB bushes and drop links

February 2012 - new front tyres ( Falken ZE912, 205/50x17 )

May 2012 - new sunroof seal ( genuine one ) bought and fitted in June to replacement sunroof

June 2012 - good s/h sunroof from forum member which is in better condition paint wise than mine. Replace engine temp sensor.

July 2012 - replace leaking radiator with good s/h one

November 2012 - replace torn rear seat squab with perfect s/h one

December 2012 - passed the MOT , third year running without any major issues !

May 2013 - Replaced both bonnet gas struts with genuine OEM ones from Frazerpart

May 2013 - stripped, cleaned and adjusted the AFM as per Clarkes garage and this seems to have cured the random stalling at idle issue ! 200 miles covered since doing it and it's not stalled once!

Current mileage, 128,000

The car was Promax chipped by previous owner, not sure if there's more than one type but he said it made the car ' smoother' to drive !

In the time I've owned the car I've done just under 10,000miles, the oil and filter have been changed 3 times ( last time approx 1,000miles ago ) front wipers changed twice, sun visor clips replaced, managed to get the non working tyre compressor working, not brilliantly but it does work ! The tool roll is with it along with the sunroof bag.
Everything works electrically ( well, 2/3rds of the rear window heater lines ) I did manage to break the trip meter, although the mileometer still works, as does the clock !

There's a good bit of history from previous owners but I suspect some of it is missing from the earlier years

These are the thing which could do with attention.

Headlining has shrunk back from the sunroof aperture and could do with replacing

Rear interior roof trim panel needs replacing - warped / mended / warped again

Door mirrors are quite stone chipped and could do with re-spraying ( been meaning to do this since day one ! )

Rear interior pillar trims are a bit untidy at the rear edge - need sorting or replacing.

The bodywork overall is quite good, it does have a few stone chips and marks and there is a tiny bit of rust on the very front edge of the drivers side sill, although the MOT tester seemed to think it was only a little bit of surface flaking of the stone chip material.

Hope this is all helpful, ( picture in my sig is from about 3 years ago but she doesn't look much different ! ) - Pictures at. Www.thatsmypicture.co.uk

If anyone is interested they can email or PM me and I'll do my best to answer any questions

Looking for £2650 ono

Thanks for looking.
