Seems rather good value? anyone know it?

Because it doesn't look very original, and it doesn't look very low mileage ...

Of course, appearances may deceive ...

Been on their website forever and been discussed here a few times already.

Can't remember outcome. Think it may have sold loooong time ago and it's out of date?

May make sense as other cars they have I've also seen some time ago. Funny thou I noticed that there are quite a few RS's for sale oh PH at the mo. Usual for this time of year u think?

Crossy tyre kicking again ;-)

Now THIS is gloriously gorgeous if you are missing some excitement in your life

This RSR rep was sold late last year for c.£21k via ebay.....I was communicating with the owner, Ash, and was pretty tempted.....looks a fun car. There are a couple of youtube cilps of it if you search "2.8 RSR replica car park drag" iirc. It was advertised in various places for most of 2009, starting at £35k and falling to c.£23k. Next owner didn't keep it long.....and now it's back on for £35k again. History repeats.

There's a very cool lime green 1973 rsr rep on PH, also been for sale for an age for £42k that looks better value imo....

It was in the auction at the Autosport show 2009 and was bid into the low £20ks, but didn't sell

You are spot on there. However you have either got to be able to race it or at least do trackdays in it . It did turn up at Oulton earlier in the year but could not get on because of noise , even with 'supertraps' fitted.
Pretty though ..... Nick did a good job there.

It was indeed at Oulton! Great car, the engine alone would cost you half of the asking price...

Anybody interested please PM me - the owner is a friend and I'll gladly pass on details etc.

So you don't fancy it as a road car then John ?

It does look, phenomenal.

But, a re-creation and not really a daily driver and, seemingly not a track car .....

Although I wonder if you can turn it into a track/race car for not much money......certainly less than attempt to build one.

Hi h , I'm not an expert but I think the cage wont meet FIA spec for racing , there may be other areas that would need re-engineering so you might need to PM Nick Moss about that as he built it .
Hi Chris , the only place you could really use the potential performance would be the track IMHO , those Michelin TBs are just itching to be punished , but you would have to sort out the exhaust system somehow.
My lifestyle does not run to having exotic road cars I'm afraid ! [:D]

Cage might be good enough for UK events, even if not, new cage, FE system, cut out switch, track setup, set of wheels/ tyres. It might not need much more? Exhaust possibly OK for race car? Sounds like (having not seen the car, spoken to anyone of course), that for 50k, you might get a really nice race ready rep!!!

I'll keep dreaming its not going to happen. [:D]
