Seating position/comfort

I've only had my car a couple of months, but until recently I could not find a seating position (standard seats) that would stay comfortable for more than a single trip. I was always fidgeting and adjusting, and the side bolsters seemed to really dig into my back and shoulders. Then someone showed me a Porsche video on YouTube called Human Performance, or something like that. I followed the instructions, and now have a seating position that is extremely comfortable and supportive but nothing like any other I've used in other cars. The seat is basically on the floor, the backrest is rather upright and I am close to the steering wheel. It took a couple of short drives to get used to it, but now it feels "right". I feel like part of the car, to use a cliche.
No doubt this is old news to most of you, but I wish the salesman had gone through this with me..

yes, similar problem here....used to use pressing clutch pedal to gauge how far to put the seat back...im now using contact with the seat support under my thigh as a measure and to a lesser extent the foot rest for the left foot as a clutch pedal subsitute. However it wasn't the distance causing me issue rather the pitch of the seat. I'm all to aware that I slouch mainly as a result of being tall with lots of short friends and colleagues and from sitting at a desk/PC all day. While I tend to set up the seat correctly I have a habit of fiddling around until its comfortable. So new car, new habits and despite the increased seat back pitch feeling a little weird at first I'm now starting to settle into it and its become very comfortable.DrSimon said:I watched the video and that's pretty much how I like it now. It makes you feel so connected with the car. However, I found that someone had pinched my clutch pedal so I couldn't get the distance from the steering wheel correct. That'll teach me to buy a PDK!
