We are planning a visit to the Scarborough Fair collection which hosts a magnificent working collection of vintage cars, steam engines, vintage fairground rides and mechanical organs with a ‘Mighty’ Wurlitzer organ in the spacious ballroom.
This may appeal more to members in the East of the county as the collection is located in the scenic grounds of the Flower of May Holiday Park, on the coast road between Scarborough and Filey but we have opened the invitation to the whole region, apologies for the short notice.
There is an option to start the day at the Pot Still cafe at the Spirit of Yorkshire distillery at nearby Hunmanby which opens at 9.30am, we anticipate arriving at the collection around 11-11.30am.
We currently have seven cars from the Eastern group attending, if you would be interested in joining us please respond below before the 16th July to give us time to coordinate with the venues.
