S2 Decal removal...

Due to the S2 decal at the rear of my S2 being its appears put on incorrectly after respraying I want to take it off and re-position it. Any advice on how to remove these without damaging the paintwork? Will it re-stick or should I get some replacements...?

Any help is appreciated...

I had mine removed prior to it being resprayed and apparently it didn't damage the paint but it wouldn't go back on again so I still haven't got around to replacing it looks good without the rubbing strip on the bumper though.

just ordered a replacement decal from OPC and wasn't alot , think it was about £15 less PCGB discount

 
Warm it up gently with a hairdryer for a few minutes and then slide a thin plastic scraper behind it. The 'glue' is actually a foam sticker which will fall apart so unless you are very accurate with sticking fresh stuff onto the back of the badge you are better off buying a new one.
 
Ah yes the old fishing line and dental floss method, completely forgot that one[:D] Thanks for the tips guys, wonder if the misses will miss her floss for a little while..

Having used it before I find floss a little too low in the breaking strain department, so the fishing stuff would get my vote.
