S.2/Turbo front on an '88 Lux.......

I'm aware that a few complete front end conversions have been done, replacing the front wings as well as the P.U, headlight covers and badge panel. However, I hadn't come across one where the original Lux wings were reshaped to fit.

When one of my customers told me this is what he'd done, I was rather sceptical of what the result would look like, but actually it's pretty impressive IMHO. He sent me a 5Mb file of this photo so I could zoom in and see the detail.

I think its quite a common way to do it TBH. I have certainly often heard of people doing it that way. It does though seem to be a popular way to devalue a nice original 944 's' as they clearly fetch more as an original classic than they do with the S2 front end.
