Hi All

Thanks for the earlier help with the bubbling on the bottom of my passenger side door.
Suggestions please as to the safest, most effective way to remove the bubbling.....

Many thanks in advance

I would have thought if it is bubbling, underneath the bubbling the rot will need some fairly major surgery, it will undoubtedly need cutting out and new metal welding in, as already suggested you will probably be better off getting another door and fitting that, anything else in just going to be a temp botch imo.

The only way to effectively deal with rust is to either cut it out or grind it out. If it's one small area (less than 50p sized) then grinding will be the best bet but if it grinds all the way through to a hole then new metal will need to be welded in.

If it is a common colour Red, Black, White etc, see if you can source a new door there are plenty about, generally no matter what the age, the doors do not rust unless they have had damaged and been repaired incorrectly.
It will work out cheaper to replace with a good door.
