Running Rich?

Tankman

New member
Out on Monday as requested, 911 42nd Birthday an' all, Thought I had perhaps gained the unwanted attention of a previously unknown Gatso.

After retracing my wheel tracks at a more leisurely speed, no trace could be found of a government cash machine, so what happened?

Maybe I had inadvertently flashed a double mirror type effect thingy off of County Council roadside warning "slight bend 7 miles ahead" "Maximum speed 40 or you die!" metalwork?

No!

It all became apparent when I noticed another similar flash later under hard acceleration and subsequent upshift and again later on a double de-clutch downshift. It seemed to be following me! What's this I thought? A new type of rapid response mobile - on the move mobile police cash register?

Or maybe just a great big gout of flames from unburnt fuel in the exhaust?

It's not my fault there's a petrol shortage (allegedly) you know!

That's what comes of running a modified 930 Marc - at your state of tune it needs to run rich!
Took my 930 out for birthday blat as well and was able to fill up with 4*LRP at 82.9 per litre without queing.
Cheers
John

Morning John,

Hope you are well, I was able to fill up on Monday night easily too, but then again I wouldn't have expected a queue for Optimax. Especially not at 103.9 pence a litre!

Regards

Marc

Hi Marc,

I'm getting the same off mine too. Brother reckons it looks awsome when I overtook his 968 then changed!
Now where's my camera!

Hi Andrew,

How's tricks?

Maybe we could set up a joint photo shoot?

Mind the Plod cameras though! [;)]

Pretty good thanks marc,

How's about yourself...?

Played golf yesterday with some friends and shot an 88 so was well chuffed with myself.

How was your trip to the states...? Looking forward to hearing about your mods.
May be getting mine on a Rolling Road in a next few time weeks so will post the findings when I do. Won't be close to yours but looking forward to seeing the result.

The rear seat and foot well are acting as a makeshift fish tank at the mo so need to get that seen too double quick. [] Any ideas where the leak could be?
I believe the channels in the roof have been checked / cleared.

Andrew
