For those of you that may be interested in these cars there is a 1986 original prototype car which was found in Canada, spent some time in the UK and now resides in Perth WA with its owner, driven on most events in the PCWA of which we are members. the car is in good condition and has a good patina as its never been, as far as I know, any bodywork carried out on it. Alois Ruf are aware of its existence. The picture was taken at our recent PCWA Club day and Concours in Perth.

Looks good, always nice to see an SC, let alone a rare Ruf example.
(Although, just thought - is this based on a 3.2, as it’s an ’86 prototype?)

They obviously used Turbo front/rear wings, etc on these, so quite a ‘wide’ one for a Ruf, as the CTR was a so-called ‘narrow’ bodied.

Hope all is good for you in Oz, Brad... keep safe and enjoy those Porsches [8D]
(always loved the Ruf alloys... you had some on your SC years ago, didn’t you?)

Great looking car. Having had a family-conducted tour of the Ruf premises in Germany a few years ago on a PCGB factory tour trip, they are a truly amazing and very friendly bunch of folks.

Wow, thanks for sharing, looking really mean and ready to tear the track !!!
Even with wide Turbo wings it looks like they could not have fitted wheels with any more negative offset as they really fill the arches. Love the stance of the all thing.
