Now i realise they are sold... BUT has anybody tried them??
What are your findings.???
Are they as good as the Pagid blue / orange pads.??
Do "we" know what compound they are / were.??
OR are they rubbish....
Hope somebody can help me out. ta.

Dave I had Porsche motorsport pads in my GT3.

Certainly stopped you, quite harsh though and did squeal.

Much more pleased with the pagid yellows in my 64RS.

Hope you're ok mate, catch up soon.

I acnnot comment on these pads but I cannot understand the fixation on Pagid blue or orange. The only reason people go for orange is becaus ethey used to be the control pad for various Porsche race series and therefore it became known that that is what the race teams used. There are better pads within the Pagid range. I have been RS-15 (grey) for 3over 3 years, both on the road and track. They last, don't seem to eat disks, only squeal a little 9no worse than orange IMO), yet stop so much better. If you are heavy footed, they might not suit because you need finesse on the pedal but modulation isn't really that bad and if you get used to them they are very good, not grabbing at all. To give you some idea, they actually perform better when cold than blues or orange do when warmed up. And when up to temperature, they offer over 25% more friction. There is only one pad I think is better and that is the Ferodo DS3000, but they squeal like a pig and aren't really suited to road use.

Well I've never used anything but Pagid orange on my Cup Car, but then it's not used on the road any more...squeal was a huge problem when not hot, but they have never, ever failed me, and (to GT1's chagrin!!) are light on the discs, but then I brake properly..........if at all.......

Cheers folks.
As most of you will know, im a 968 "fanatic" and have used the Pagid Blues + Oranges in my car for the last few years.
Ive found the oranges to be the best for my use, as i have the M030 brakes. But im just about to fit the "Big Reds" to the car for this "season".
I had seen these for sale + just wondered what compound they were...I guess they are the "orange" compound...Even though they are green in colour...
Thanks for the help...
Jason. Im looking forward to another "duel" on track this year....[;)][:D][;)][:D][;)]

I keep posting on these Pagid love ins with the same boring line about EBC pads.

Seems web forums hate them but they are great value and I have never had a problem with them.

Cannot say if they physically stop the car in a shorter distance or longer distance than any Pagid offering but I have found no wear or fade or feel issues!

Perhaps EBC should double their prices then web folks might like them?

Richard.
Maybee you should try braking a little harder. Youl then find out how bad the EBC,s realy are.....[;)][;)][;)]

If my memory serves me correct, Pagid greens were used in the first year of Carrera Cup racing. It was the most aggressive compound, was designed for short distance racing and used to eat discs. Have never seen them again after that. Maybe it makes sense to check the disc wear after some track use.

I am assuming "big dave" that you must live up to your name so making your car heavy? Or you brake too much? Otherwise I struggle to understand your findings.

I have used EBC red, yellow , mintex 1155,1166s and pagids in cars from m5s to 964rs,993rs,993, xr3 etc on track and racing and the EBCs do work.

Anyway each to their own.
