In spite of some horrendous weather early this morning, a hardy bunch of Register Members and their guests braved the elements to join our 992 Breakfast meet kindly hosted by RPM Technik.

Besides the breakfast treats served up by our hosts, we were also given a tour of the showroom and workshop facilities before getting the chance to see 992's stripped of their undertrays and hoisted into the air allowing direct visibility of the major mechanicals while one of RPM's senior technicians talked us through the engine, transmission, steering and suspension systems of both a Carrera S and a GT3.

RPM's team detailed their various performance upgrade solutions including exhausts, suspension and braking systems before fielding Members' questions about servicing options, technology advancements for diagnostics and the often misunderstood topic of warranties when choosing to service your car outside of the official dealer network.

We are grateful to all at RPM for giving up their Sunday morning to look after us, with special thanks due to the Members who battled the wind and rain to attend this morning and particularly brand new PCGB Member Carlos for bringing along his GT3, allowing us a close-up inspection of his lovely 911.

We are looking to hold more of these type of interactive briefing sessions at other regional locations during 2022 to allow those from elsewhere in the UK the opportunity to attend - please keep an eye on the usual club communication channels for updates.

Looks like it was good event but I never saw any mention of this beforehand on the 992 Register section of the Forum.
