It is possible, but a lot of faffing. You would have to fit the TPMS control unit (RDK in Porsche-speak), the 4 sensors in the wheel arches, wiring each sensor to the control unit, and of course the wheel sensors. The control unit needs a switched feed and earth, and 2 wires to the Comfort CAN bus. Then you need to code the Gateway and Instrument Cluster to add TPMS. And Bob's your uncle..... That does seem like quite a lot of work, any idea of what kind of quote that'd be? Seems in the £1k region.

You are looking at about £1000 for parts, and it would be a LOT of work. It would also be a challenge finding someone to take it on. I would look for an aftermarket system if I were you. I fitted one to my 996 Turbo, and from memory it was about £150.

Mine was an Orange Electronics P409S system, I bought directly from Orange Electronics in the USA at the time. As it was some time ago, I expect there are newer and better ones around. However, I did find it on Amazon:

The later model shown on Amazon also displays tyre sensor voltages, which mine didn't have, and is a useful feature. Bear in mind that you'll have to factor in the cost of removing and re-fitting the tyres, if you aren't fitting it when you are renewing tyres. I also recall Orange supplying some different valve stems (shorter??) to fit the Porsche wheels, so check that whatever you choose are compatible.
