Respray recommendations

Anyone had any experience with trinity Automotive for body work and respray

A quick search on Companies House reveals Nash Hunter is behind this. There’s a good reason his name isn’t to be found anywhere on their website and why this new company has magically appeared in place of his previous business "Retro Restorer” - after all the work you’ve done to your car Ken I wouldn’t let him touch it personally.

If I were you I'd find a popular local body shop near you that has been in business for a good number of years. There isn't anything special about our cars and an experienced body work specialist with a good reputation is much better than a "specialist" with patchy history.

I've used two body shops locally to me (Worcester) and they did a good job, you need to make sure that they do everything you want them to, as unless you state it specifically then you might find they don't do exactly what you ask. They did a great job with the paint on both my cars and I learnt with the second car (second time around) to make sure they did exactly what I wanted and not what could be assumed by a "full respray".

Case in point I had one of my outer sills replaced some years ago with a genuine Porsche sill, I had the work done by a back street fast car / boy racer type body shop. They did a great job and it has stood the test of time. Later I went to a "specialist" who fabricated an outer sill on the other side, it is passable but not great and I will be getting it redone at some point in the future.

Happy to recommend the most recent body shops I've used here in order I last used them -

Tony Williams Bodyshop (Malvern)
