Anyone ever done this to there s2 style bumper?

Did see a pic on internet but not sure what vent they used,

would just be replacing fog/driving light setup

Pics?????

thanks

On the S2 the lamps in the front spoiler are side, fog and driving lamps so if it is an S2 or Turbo you have and remove them you would need to work out how to replace the sidelamps i.e. either fit extra side lamps or alter your pop up lamps to come on with the side light switched on otherwise I think you would have issues at MOT time.

I know something like this can be done with a 968, there's posts on 968uk about it. However, side lights on a 968 are in the headlight, so not sure how it would work for an S2.

See my thread on my track 944, page 3 and 5

Sidelights can be relocated to indicators (use clear lenses) I used an LED bulb and holder, drilled a hole in the reflector & glued the holder in.

I bought some cheap ducts and made some ABS plastic covers. Ducting on the offside is hard to route, I replaced the washer bottle with a smaller one to make room

There was a fellow a few years back with a very nice black S2 who did this as well. Can't remember his name but the car was a lovely job. Did the same as Ed - fitted some clear indicators and mounted some small sidelight bulbs behind one half of them, but put some yellow indicator tape over the other half to give the yellow for the indicators.

He had some rather larger ducts in the space freed up, although I don't know enough about aerodynamics to know whether this would have caused better airflow.

I seem to remember he wrote the car off on the 'ring about 2 years ago. I don't know what happened to the remains of it, and don't think he has been around on the forums of late either.
