i have a Boxter 986S first registered in 2002. The car has only driven 27,700 since new and is a real gem. (New AT engine at 17,300 miles!)
The Becker CDR22 haead unit has lost 100% of the lcd display, making the unit more or less unusable.
The original audio fit included the Becker Silverstone, door speakers, a small Harman Amplifier and two dash speakers. It is not the "BOSE" set-up

CAN ANYONE SUGGEST THE CORRECT WIRING HARNESS TO "PLUG AND PLAY" TO A VDO CONTINENTAL CD7416U-OR HEAD UNIT

It seems dozens of harnesses are on offer, some "amplified". A model number and supply source for the correct harness would be much appreciated, together with any other helpfull information on installation.

I uintend to remove the Becker CD Autochanger and offer this for sale, together with the Becker CDR22, which I shall have repaired.

I would recommend looking at incartec.co.uk great website that leads you through what you have and what you need and real people available to answer questions and even make up custom looms for you i
in the unlikely event they don’t have a ready to go solution.
