Replacement radiator for ‘83 Auto 944

Hi all,

I have an ‘83 944 NA auto in need of a replacement radiator. Affordable parts in these times are scarce but I have found a reasonable used item from an ’86 NA auto.


The Porsche part number for the original item is 94410602707 and the one from the ‘86 is marked as 94410602705. However, outwardly they look identical.


Does anyone know if the ’86 rad would fit the ’83? Am I missing something obvious?

All advice welcome.
