Replacement battery for 993 targa

No idea what size you require but once you know check out carparts4less.co.uk

I paid about £86 for a Bosch S5 for my 996 4S last year.

they're already competitively priced, then you get 15% discount if over £100 plus any discount they're offering at the time + free delivery

I suggest that you go to opc as I purchased A supposedly correct one from a major brand and had to cut away part of the trim as battery was a fraction to tall

Yes I'd go with OPC personally. Bosch S5 didn't last for me ....and it's an ugly white thing compared to the original.

OPC? Pay 3 times the price for crap. JCB (Just Car Batteries) are you cheapest supplier
On the face of it, I'd agree, but can only speak from experience that both a new bosch s5 and halfords calcium jobby both kept letting me down. Under same conditions , with ctek trickler, the opc battety has never put a foot wrong in 18 months. Can't say why and I'm sure it's some 'crap' inside with a porsche sticker on, but its working quite nicely so far for me. Wasn't sure about it at first when it arrived dry and seperate acid to pour in. ..

Just get an ordinary, reliable battery and drive it regularly [8D]
...don’t pay three times what you need to unnecessarily.
