Remapper recommendations?

It's ok Pete, I'm fully aware of comments against Wayne, I treat them for what they are and rely on my own experience, as we all should. You'll find such negative comments against everything in life if you look hard enough and it's difficult to sort truth from lie, especially if you have no experience of a company yourself. Fortunately I do have vast experience in Wayne's capabilities and will rely on that and on my own understandings in such things which if I say so myself is pretty good.

No offence meant Pete, as i said just a couple of comments i picked up over the last couple of months during idle chit chat and, as i also said, probably a load of old bollox. I wouldn't know a good mapper from a bad one to be honest (but i'm gradualy learning by coming on here and talking to people like yourself)[;)]. If i ever get great service from a company/individual i keep on using them regardless, you obviously do the same, and why not? Bullsh1t piles up so fast on these car forums, you need wings to stay above it !![:D].

no offence taken mate, we all need to be careful when using outside services, I'm a great believer in if you want a job done properly then do it yourself, unfortunately mapping using the Vittesse is not that straight forward as the values in-putted mean little to me. Stand alone systems are something different and much easier to understand what's being in-putted to the map. Once I get to a standalone system I'll do my own mapping as my son does for his cars which I have to admit give out a lot of power for little displacement and have run for years with no issues.

Imagine if some-one was to develop a clean sheet, - 21st century ECU for the 944 & 951, - without looking over their shoulder at what the 951 might be capable of compared to an aircooled 3.3, and incorporate flexibility for modern features, bigger capacity.....

that would be interesting
