Porsche Club GB Register Rendezvous at Upton House near Banbury in Warwickshire, OX15 6HT.

FREE ENTRY

SATURDAY 13th SEPTEMBER 2014

Ken Coad (968@porscheclubgb.com) has organised this event for all registers to attend so it's an ideal place for a gathering of 964 owners.
Because of parking space allocation please let me know in advance and I'll put you on the list.

Parking 10am - 4pm and owners are asked to bring a drip tray.

Within the event is a show and shine competition, open to 24 cars, displayed outside the actual House and will look great for photography, simply viewed by Paul Keeling on the day looking for best presentation, the top 3 cars chosen will receive a prize and the competition is kindly sponsored by our business partners and PCGB sponsor Locktons insurance.
Some places still remain and if you wish to enter simply email myself (John McGirl) at 996@porscheclubgb.com your name, car detail and membership number and a unique entry number and confirmation will be replied to within 24 hours of your email.

This free-to-attend event takes place at the beautiful Upton House, about 7 miles NW Banbury, and is arranged in conjunction with the National Trust.

Club members are invited to display their cars in the echelon along the quarter-mile drive leading to the house.
The Upton House grounds, lawns and estate are well worth a look, and there is a restaurant on site, but members are very welcome to bring a picnic along, too. It represents a terrific opportunity to share your Porsche experience with like-minded individuals in a picturesque setting.

Fingers crossed for good weather Ken Coad"

Hi Dave, So, thinking about turning up as not too far away. Just so I'm clear, it's open to non-964's too? Also, do we still park along the drive you mention? - kids being what they are with the attention span of a fly, we may not be able to stay for most the day...

Marcus

Yes it's open to all Porsches. If you're going in your 964 let me know, otherwise let Cornbury House know.

See you there, David

David, great day had yesterday and good to see that all +1 on your list made it along. Thanks for organising. Plenty to talk to and plenty to talk about..

Ray, good to meet you and that 964 of yours... well, can see it's been getting plenty of attention - awesome.

Nice to see the RS made it along too. Didn't quite get the point of concours judging and prize for the most polished but there you go... [;)]

It was just a bit of fun.

Some like racing, some like driving, some like socialising , some like polishing. I hope that everyone who participated enjoyed that aspect of the day - there were some seriously clean cars on display!

You are of course right Rob... Credit where it's due. I'd be very stressed should anyone touch my car if as shiny as the ones there..!

I'm amazed that so many cars dared to venture out of their cocoons and get soiled by the sunlight and toxic laden atmosphere.
