Hi, whats the story for Parking at the weekend ? will alll 996,s be parked together as in previous years ? I note that it is not possible for a members only day this year so is it a case of park where you can ?

If Johnny has sent you a Register parking pass, then this is where you can park, otherwise it will be Porsche non register parking - you can move down if there are free places and you get a pass

I unfortunately didnt get any advanced tickets as I didnt think I would be able to make it.
I take it that I will simply park where guided?

I believe Porsche Parking is seperate from General (and public, and Nissan) parking.

You can bring the Porsche![:D]

There will be one spare place at Brands for a 996 (and a place on the parade lap)

Some of you may remember my tale of woe when 24 hours after buying my 996 the clutch went ! ! ! and in that post I said that I was not known for my luck - well it has struck again

Since it has been repaired it has been the muts nuts, so much so that I was really looking forward to "the Hatch" this weekend and showing it off.

There was just one small issue I wanted to reslove before the week-end, 2 scruffy rear sport designs with scuffs on the rims. Called up Wicked Wheels in Crawley and got "no problem, bring it in on Tuesday have it back to you for Saturday (split rims take longer) This would give me the whole of Sunday with the Mcguires and hoover.

Got a call a couple of days after the car had gone in and the wheels taken off and split to say - "Errr about your car, I forgot it was the Bank Holiday week-end and they shut the Laser down for the Bank Holiday so you wont get the car back now until TUESDAY"

So enjoy the festival all of you who are going and if there is someone out there angling for my vacant spot I hope you own a Black C4 with grey interior and stunning 18" sport design wheels ! ! ! !

Not sure of the detail in your mail above , but if theres a parking pass going for Monday I'm interested?
