Register of Independent Porsche Specialists

If it works for you then great - I just tried it - and it listed 5 near me, two of which I wouldn't trust for anything - including directions to a proper garage, one that doesn't actually have a workshop ( they farm the work - and drive your car - about 50 miles away to another garage).

The other two are known locally - with generally good feedback, but there are at least 3 more in the same radius that are very well respected by the local enthusiasts that don't get a mention.

I would suggest asking folks in your local region who they use. and see who gets consistent good reports, from my experience there's a few not-so-special-ists around.
 
Yes its just a list of so called 'specialists'.
No mention of them being 'approved', 'vetted' or 'similar'.
Agreed that you can't beat a good recomendation!
