Recaro 'Furious' vs. 'Pole position' seats

Anybody know what the basic differences are?

They look the same from all the pics I've seen but the Furious is much cheaper?
I use my car on the road a fair bit so if the pole position seats are much more comfy or better finished etc. then it would be worth the extra.

Can anybody help?

Kristian,
The Furious is, as you suggest, a cheaper version of the Pole Position. As far as I recall it is the same shell, but the covering is less well finished (ie Recaro lettering is not embroidered) and the cushions are all one piece I believe. Similarly the Apex is a cheaper version of the SPG (narrower and higher sided than the Pole Position). I would recomend sitting in both for a while to see which is more comfortable for you.
Here's the Recaro catalogue.......

cheers for the catalogue Jamie

Looks like the Furious is a bit scrappy and probably best left to the out and out track cars.

I'll just have to cough up the extra for the Pole Position seats!

tried recaros but found cobras suited me better, you can factory order them with logo of your choice on headrest, i paid a touch more to delete the cobra logo, the factorys in telford but i found they were cheaper through demon tweeks....

I have Pole positions, and the letters are just printed onto the black leather.

See my site for pics.

Paul-had a look at your site-nice interior.do you have any other pictures

Hi Jeff, how's you mate?

Will have my display working soon on the site. I have taken a notion for a speedster, and would love a 964 version or a flatnose 964 but guess my chances are very slim in finding a cheap enough one.

I'll drop you some pictures in the mail chap.
