My mirror has just fallen off - actually not the 944 but the principle is the same. I tried to reaffix with a new double sided sticky thing but it keeps falling off. Now yesterday was quite warm so it may not have been the best time to try but I wondered what other people use? No not superglue!
Or should I just try again on a cooler day?

Halfords sell a special bonding agent for just this purpose, which I guess must be similar to the stuff the windscreen guys must use and isn't just your average super glue. Try that, if not then drop into Autoglass and ask them to attach it, I doubt it will cost more than a few quid.
