I have managed to knock off my rear view mirror whats the best thing to use to stick it back to the windscreen?

Buy a "stick your rear view mirror back on" kit. Got mine from halfords. It has an epoxy type adhesive and a mesh component. As long as you clean all exess adhesive off the metal mount whick glues to the screen then you should be fine. Remove the mirror from the mount first though.

Seconded. About £4. Best if you can get the mount out of the mirror stem (easier said than done) or you are left holding the weight of the mirror, daring not to move for a good minute. Sounds easy, but that's easier said than done too. It does work though. My cab had a narrow suction mirror when I bought it. Not anymore. Proper Job.

Go down to your local Autoglass repair place.
They have stuck two mirrors on two of my cars, never fallen off since. Never charged me for doing it so I just put some money in their brew jar.

Cheers,

I did that one aswell..just ask them what they use to stick the mirror ad they will do it for you[;)]

Halfords sell a special bonding agent for just this purpose, which I guess must be similar to the stuff the windscreen guys must use and isn't just your average super glue. Try that, if not then drop into Autoglass and ask them to attach it, I doubt it will cost more than a few quid.

Go to Half...ds get a pack or their mirror adhesive, Be about £6 now. Used it on my 944 about 6 years ago, nothing else in the way of adhesives or sticky pads even comes close. JB weld would probaly do it (like araldite but it works) but it is about £10 a pop.
