rear tyres

Having covered 14,000 miles in the cayman s and my rears are down to about 3.5 mm's. Should I change now or can I get another 1-2000 out of them? If so anyone recommend a cheap place as I hate giving the official Porsche centres un-necessary money as they are not much better than your local Alfa Romeo/Fiat dealer in my experience! Your views would help, cheers
