First thing to do is to see if you can raise it manually from the console switch. When it happened to mine I found that it wouldn't. That lead me to discover that the drive gear had fallen off!

Also, make sure the speedo is working. The speed signal for the spoiler controller comes from the speedo so if the speedo doesn't work nor will the spoiler. Steve's suggestion re. the switch is the first to check. If that's OK the focus switches to the controller and the speed signal. I've seen the speedo affected by the classic "clock" connection problem before and it's worth checking out before assuming it's the controller 'coz they're over £200 each!!! Regards Dave
