Rear passenger side inner arch rust

Anybody had the same issue as in the photo? I am having all four corners redone done shortly. The front two are slightly chipped , rear drivers side is the same but the passenger side is showing quite a lot. The painter said he may need to remove some metal and replace and blow in with the wing. I am having the front bumper done aswell for £450 ish. Any comments or experience would be appreciated. 997.1 C2 cabriolet MY 08.
 
Agree that needs sorting although not serious. It is quite difficult to stop rust here so your guy needs to be very thorough to get it all.

Mine is black and I use black waxoyl on both sides but yours being blue you don't have that option unfortunately.
