Rather nice

Nothing new there, did that after my lemans trip wheels off job.
Not as bad when I first got the car in 07, took twelve hours toothbrush job going over the car underneath.

 
I think SeeYa's point is that this isn't *that* crazy - we all obsessively look after our cars in one way or another.

What is nice though is the originality and mileage! be interesting to see what it sells for - I think the estimate is a little high, but who knows!

Spot on Todd,we all have a view on car cleaning, As for me, not a concourse guy.
Very clean neat and tidy suits me.

 
I had a good look over it and it was a really nice one. Great paint, minimal wear and tear, etc.

IMO it was a top example and one worthy of a collection, which is probably what drove the price up so high - 2 collectors fighting for it.

I was tempted to nudge the 'loser' and point him at my car... :)
