Radiator replacement cost

does anyone have a ballpark cost for having the radiators replaced? Just looking to prepare myself??????

Hi Philip,

I assume you’re referring to the a/c condensers rather than the coolant radiators? The main Porsche dealers are bound to be mega-expensive with their £150+ per hour labour charges and Porsche approved parts, so it will be worthwhile checking with established Porsche Independents in your area to see what they quote since their labour charges will be much lower and they’ll be able to fit much cheaper OEM components if you wish.

Hi , If it is the A/C condensers you need doing ,specialists can be cheaper than garages . Depending where you are there is a guy in Solihull ( Roadchill ) who did mine in a 987 a few years ago.

I think it was under £400 then - good job and did it while i waited .

My 2015 Boxster lost it's a/c gas and I took it to local OPC who diagnosed a weld issue on the nearside condenser so had that done under warranty. To avoid hassle I got the other one replaced at the same time (as I wasn't t sure I would extend the warranty) and that cost £350 including additional labour. I think the budget they gave me for both (pre warranty diagnosis) was £1,200. Local specialist was nearly £900.00 with original parts.
