After feedback from our New Year dinner suggestions we have now decided to book a restaurant in York with a meet up in pub early evening.

We have booked Rustique a French restaurant for 30 people dinning at 8.30pm on Saturday 25th January. The cost will be £15 per head for a three course dinner (sample menu here) plus drinks.

Since this is the resident's weekend it is one of the quieter weekends of the year and so we should be able to cut a good deal on a hotel and will let you know what we come up with soon. This should allow you to have a day/afternoon shopping before meeting up for a drink in a great pub in the evening.

If you would like to come along then please confirm and we will need a £5 deposit per head and menu choices ahead of time. We will have the actual menu closer to the time.
 
Sounds good to us Mark. A lot better value and we usually enjoy a weekend in York. Count us in and I will sort you some money out when I can[:D]

We have eaten there before and both enjoyed the food, should be a great night. Where you thinking of starting off?

Wet hey, that's 30 of us. We will finalise details closer to the time, but will sort out a hotel before then.

If any one else is thinking about coming along, horn please let me know sooner rather than later as we will now have to extend the booking and this needs to be done early as it is very popular.
 
We are booked in too, Hedley House hotel, superior room, car park and a full english to go with the hangover. [&:]
