Our Christmas night out was last Friday 2nd December at the Glen Helen Inn, and was attended by many of our regular members. There were a few missing for various reasons unfortunately, but we had an extra drink or two on their behalf, well I did anyway! []
The meal was very nice and some members stayed at the Glen Helen overnight so that they could try the breakfasts too.
Pete and Emma even left a free bar at his works Christmas Party to join us, that is real dedication.
Great efforts had been made in the outfit department with Ian sporting a bow tie and Shelagh......, well, lets just make it clear that no Polar Bears were harmed in the making of this Christmas Party! []
Tom gave us the latest update to his 944 strip down. We saw his car when he first bought it, even crowded around and inside it, but have never seen it since. Hope you are taking photo's Tom, as I'm sure it would make for a great talk at one of our club meetings. Hopefully the Christmas holiday may give you time to do more work on it. If you need any help just let me know...... I mean taking photo's, not the rebuild! []
This may well be Al's final Christmas with the Isle of Man region as he moves from the Island early next year and will be greatly missed.
Thanks to Julian for organising the event and to the Glen Helen Inn for a great night.
