We tried to run this last Summer and Helen indicated possible interest from R8 back then. Unfortunately, due to a low take-up by our region at the time the event was postponed to 2005.

We have now re-arranged the drive out for the Sunday a fortnight before Easter and you are cordially invited to join us.

Starting at the Peveril in the Peak hotel, Thorpe nr Ashbourne, (http://www.peverilofthepeak.co.uk) at between 10.00 and 11.00 am, Peter Brearley has mapped out a 72 mile route with several stop-offs.

We need to get an idea of numbers in the next few weeks so please contact me, Peter (pbrearley@clara.co.uk) or post on this thread.

Mike this is the same week-end that region 8 has a week-end drive and dine around the rutland area.

but im more than happy to include this in the diary of events.

The law of S*d does it again.....sorry for the clash. Good luck with your weekend event. If anyone can't make yours but fancies a drive out on the Sunday. please let them know.

Thanks.

Hi Mike

Drop me a line before Saturday 5th February so we can put our heads together and perhaps sort out something for later in the year. Our next meeting is on Monday 7th February at the Coopers Arms in Weston On Trent, near Derby.

Regards

Phil
