QUEST FOR CHAMPAGNE!!!

Can anyone out there help one of our members Dawn.[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"]She is looking to buy a gift for someone who loves champagne. Is there anyone in our club who would know of a good quality champagne and if not available locally how to source it before early December.[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"]Budget approx £100.[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"]I will pass on any suggestions.[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"]Thanks [FONT=verdana,geneva"]

Vintage Champagnes from 1988,1989,1990,1996,1997 ,1998 ,1999 are all excellent. 1990 is the best. Any of the good names will please the recipient. Moet & Chandon's Dom Perignon, Bollinger, Veuve Clicquot or Ruinart probably are the most easily available. Personally I like the Dom Perignon 1999, Bollinger RD 1996 and Veuve Clicquot Rare Vintage 1988. They should all be in budget.
