Pulled over by police

I got pulled over by the police Thursday evening by an unmarked police car. It was a dark coloured Volvo on a 55 plate.

I got out and he tells me a silver carrera has been stolen that has a tracker. I ask him if its a new one or an old one to which he didn't reply.
I then tell him that my car is a carrera but it's black.

I hope they got the car back.

Is it anyone here? I thought of Dongaway but he has a turbo.

Nope not me, but I did get pulled over last year for speeding on the
A14. Good job it was a panda though, because if it was a volvo it would have been more than 3 points and a fine I can tell you now.

I can't understand why he pulled you over then [], must have been very dark for plod to mistake a black car for a silver one, especially as plod will also have been looking for the tell tale signs of an activated tracker and a reg no.! Were you behaving??

It's strange why he pulled me over, it's not as though 911's are rare in Cambridgeshire.

I wasn't speeding.

I wonder if his car flagged up my car through number plate recognition? Is that Volvo likely to have it in?

Saloon with no obvious blue lights - they are in the front grille!

It's not black, so it must be dark blue. As you say, the lights are in the grille.
