Has anyone experienced this.

Yesturday morning started the car after a week. Started to move out of the garage when the dash light up like a Xmas tree. The waring was ' PSM off-PSM Failure-ABS- Failure-drive to workshop' .

Thinking this was like to be a glitch I did what any regular computer user would do. Turn it off and try again. Result, no probs and a happy 200m drive.

So before I phone AFN Chiswick to check this out and be told ' they all do that' the question is do they?

Hi Kevin

This has not been flagged up previously as a reported fault/error.
I will check with technical and reply to you asap.
Hoping you are enjoying your C4S otherwise.

Regards John McGirl

Hi Kevin

This fault was probably dirty sensor and therefore nothing to worry about, as the light did not remain on.
However it is advised to have Porsche centre check if on board diagnostic system has recorded any fault codes, if however you leave it and the light comes on again you really MUST go direct to Porsche centre for attention to same.

Hope this helps you.

John,

Thanks for that.

I spoke to AFN Chiswick and they thought it was a glitch, and to take it in if it happens again.

Other than that enjoying it immensly, so far 3200m of fast road work and two track days. I don' t commute by car but by bike so the C4S is only used weekends.

I posted a few mails regarding the C4S but I' m amazed how much quicker it is than the Boxster S. Its probably 5 or 6 sec a lap quicker round Goodwood which is about 6%.

I' m at the Silverstone track day in July which should be fun.

Thanks
