Got to be worth a look, a nice C2 with LSD (OK, has sunroof) for less than £9k, I'm sure you could barter on price. Sell the interior, turn into trackday car. Would be cracking!

The "needs slight attention" is probably the bit to be scared of I guess!

Not sure why I keep looking at these, I have a track 964, but the idea appeals![:)]
 
I reckon if an engine re-fresh is included it could be the best part of £10K to transform. That's based on what mine will have cost in suspension, brakes, interior, bodywork, tyres and the forthcoming engine re-fresh.

Go on....you know it makes sense to have one of these and to keep the mint one for special outings [;)]
 
Put like that it does sound less appealing, and I'm sure you are right. In fact Engine refresh can absorb most if not all of that. Would have to hands very dirty to make that worth while.Maybe one day.
