As the title, this skinny Evo 1 924 was originally a 2.5S and since early 2013 has been through the mill to say the least.

The final figures and main goal seemed, and was difficult to achieve but I've managed it somehow!

Just over 200bhp per Metric Ton

The car started at 1260kg and after a very costly extensive DIET is now 1010KG !

The engine was replaced with a 2.7 8v Version with a strange configuration sourced and tuned
in the USA, and was mapped at 205bhp / 205 Ft Lbs of torque a few weeks ago..

Well spent the last wee while having a read of your build very nice job a lot of very nice ideas and touches,didnt realise you could fit the later alloy wishbones although just checked out the balljoint kits eh there not cheap so think I will stick with the steel ones (Just started a 924s resto story here http://www.911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=114562)

think I will have a few questions for you as I progress, cracking car have you had it out for a blast yet or is it still work in progress ?

away to try and get the speedo cable out the stub :rolleyes:
 
Hi, Yes the early 944 (Square dash) had aluminium arms the same Dimms as the Steel 924S ones.

Then in 1986 then went oval dash, and wider Alum Wishbones etc...

Looks like you're having fun already taking it apart!

Once you start.....it's a swine to know where to stop!

I've done 700 miles already and I have a list of 10+ items and jobs that need doing to make it better ! including more weight losses!

In the last 14 Years I've owned (10) Porsches, so I'm learning all the time but are fairly familar especially with the transaxles!
