Hi Iv recently brought sliver 88 250turbo

The only service history it's got is the last 6 years from the last owner, 2007 2 date. car has the club sticker in the window.

The owner b4 last who owened the car from 2003/6 or 2007 is who I believe maybe the club member?

Name is Philip best. And makes sense off the plate pil 8381

Just wondered if it would be possabile 2 drag up any old treads on the car based on the membership?

Thanks

Looks like his login was "p.bestie", if you want to look him up you can read all his posts. He hasn't logged in for 18 months, but it's the only Phil Best in the database. [:)]

Thanks, wonder why he was still using the forum 4 and half years after he sold the car?

Not that unusual. I've got friends I've made through the 944 ownership who haven't had a 944 for years.

You often find people have either learned a lot, and keep passing that knowledge on, or they like to keep up with what old friends are doing. [:)]

Owened 996 turbo 4 a while. Just spoke 2 the chap for 20 mins. Was a really nice man and was please 2 hear the car is in good health.

His intentions was Concorse restoration, but due 2 new bissness venture couldn't no longer afford 2 continue. He sold the car unfinished and 4 more then what I payed for it, still needing a full respray.

The wings were new and genuine Porsche items.
