Hi all not been on in a while but looking at buying a house so freeing up some money possibly.
I have a lux that I was turning into a sort of soft track car it's got new tyres all round a solid body good wheels and a pretty good interior. Has spax adjustable shocks with some poly bushed bits as well, I have loads of service spares including head gasket spare gearbox and lexan windows with sliders in and a stainless exhaust and various other bits. It currently has no tax or Mot but will at least get mot for the sale.
My question is anybody on here interested or looking at the state of the market is it worth me breaking it for parts as I'm doubtful id get the £1700 I'd like for it?

It has a 157000 miles on the clock but according to the person who I bought it from engine has done much less as is not original circa 120k

Ps forgot to mention mot failure was handrbrake not adjusted sufficiently and dashboard lights not working also horn not operating.
As such if anyone has a spare lux oval dash with working lights I may be interested for the right price

I have 2 oval dash cluster that is working make me on offer....send me your email address and I can sent you pics
