Post Christmas Party Night meal / Hardwick Hall

Hello everyone

Following consultation with R3 members and negotiation with Hardwick Hall Hotel our party night will now take place in their Rib Room restaurant as follows:

Name of event: 2 course dinner with tea / coffee in the Rib Room
Venue: HARDWICK HALL HOTEL
Date: SATURDAY 14 DECEMBER 2013
Dinner: 7.30 pm
Price: £29.95 pp

The booking entitles you to either a starter (supplement for 1/2 grilled lobster) or dessert, main course with 1 side dish and either a tea or coffee.

For the main course you are entitled to order anything up to £25 (excluding side dish). If however you choose for example the 20oz Rib Eye at £29.95 you will be expected to pay a supplement of £4.95.

To keep things simple the hotel has asked that we charge our food extras and drinks to our rooms if applicable. However if couples wish to pay as they go they are happy with that as long as the waiting staff are informed before we order.

No need to decide before the night so plenty of time to change your mind between now and then.

Those of you that have paid their deposit could you please pay your balance of £39.90 per couple by this club night (9th Oct). If you can't make it we will need the balance no later than 25th Oct. If you plan on sending a cheque please pm me so I can let you know our address details etc.

There's still time to join us so please get in touch if you fancy coming along.

Well with 2013 now drawing to a close, yet another year of Porsche Club activities and shows finishing off with the Pièce de résistance. The R3 Christmas meal has got to be one of the finest yet, great atmosphere brilliant company, beautiful surroundings and delicious food. Thanks must go to Mags and Simon for organising this years event great choice you guys. Looking forward to 2014 and whatever it may bring. Merry Christmas to all. Greg & Deb.

Hi everyone we would like to agree with all the comments above, great night, great food ( although we still think a good vet would have got Graham and Chris M,s steak going again!) We would like to wish all our friends a fab Christmas and a prosperous and healthy New Year. See you all soon Simon and Mags PS Hi Chris we picked up one of the vouchers and it would be something to look forward to in 2014 to meet up for a meal as a group. WHO IS UP FOR IT ?

We would definitely like to return if the proposed date is ok - Feb is looking good but Jan and March are a bit committed. Chris and June
 
Fordy, Seeing that your POST Christmas Party Night was on the 14th does that mean that you celebrate Christmas Day earlier than the rest of the known world? I always thought the NE was populated by a bunch of heathens, even Hadrian built his wall too far north! Cheers,
 
Fred - have you not been to Holland ? - it's all over on 5th Dec when Sinterklaas has been and gone ! Happy Christmas for 5th Dec 2014 ! Chris
