Porsche Kardex information

A lot of people and adverts mention Kardex information which i assume is the original porsche factory specification of each car produced.

How can one obtain the Kardex (preferably a photocopy) of an early model (1968 911L in this case)?

I have a Certificate of Authenticity for my car but copies of Kardex's I have seen online seem to have more information.

I understand it used to be possible to get a copy of the cardex from the factory. This facility has not been available for sometime. There are individuals who claim to have factory contacts and fir a fee will obtain copies. May I suggest you search on early911sregistry.org where you will find information on Cardex.

It also depends on if the info for your vehicle was transferred to the 'new' computer.

I tried to get the build sheet for a 1976 914 but the info was not available.
