Porsche Driving Experience day:

Apologies if this has been asked before (I have searched the forum though first!) but can someone tell me please how the invite for the Porsche Driving Experience day works? Does the letter come direct from Porsche GB, and can it take a while to come through after purchase of the car? I have heard nothing since September but guess they might not run them in the winter"¦

Thanks

I ordered my c4s from opc Glasgow in nov 2005 with a view to march 06 delivery- waited and waited for the driver experience day invite, in august this year chased it up at opc Glasgow - nothing - September same again - then got onto Porsche GB - they said they would chase opc glasgow- still nothing.

Had had enough by this stage and called the Porsche driving experience people directly - they checked that I was entitled to the day , presumeably with opc Glasgow , and I received my invitation within a week.

Moral of the story? - Dont mess around go straight to the driving experience directly.<you can get the number by calling Porsche GB customer services>

I have subsequently been told by a client of mine, formerly a salesman at opc Glasgow that there are more customers than places on the courses so they rely on a percentage of people not bothering to take up their place.

In addition they do operate in the winter,- hope you enjoy what is apparently a fantastic day. I hope to go in February

Oh, and the invitation is valid for one full year from its date of isue.
