Porsche Cayman 2.9 987 Sat Nav Issues

Hi Guys,

For some reason, my Porsche Navigational Unit seems to keep turning itself on and off... It is a 2009 (59 plate). It only seems to happen when I am travelling somewhere that I have input a destinations but I cannot be sure. It does not delete the route I am travelling on, it simply turns off, the Porsche logo appears and then the sat nav automatically comes back on.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it simply an update that is needed and if so, what is the best way of doing this.

That happened twice to me, on both occasions Exeter OPC changed the whole unit under warranty .

this was over the space of about 3 years.

Here's hoping the latest one carries on OK.
