PMS & ABS failure

Originally post my PMS failure on the 20th Nov 05. I have now had it sorted out with the OPC. It was traced to a sticking turbo blow out valve and an air mass sensor by the turbo unit. luckily still under warranty just with about 2wks to go. So no charge but they replaced one of the turbo units which would have cost about £2000. Will consider buying the extended warrranty soon.
Will also need my windscreen replaced. Is it worth taking it to the OPC for this or just a nominated windscreen supplier from the insurance company? Any recomendations?

Insurance companies use screen glass which is provided (made) by their authorised glass company (autoglass, etc); this of course would not work for a Porsche as we have the FM aerial embedded in the screen, so I assume they will have to order it from Porsche(?). I assume the insurance company would cover the cost with you paying the small excess and with most companies it will not affect your NCB whereas at the OPC you will be charged the full amount as it would not be covered by the warranty.
